Isn’t it strange how sometimes Satan tries to remind you of your past? I mean we all make mistakes and we all change, especially when we give our lives to Christ. But he is lying and deceiving and wants you to fail. He attacks when you’re at your weakest.
After all the word says John 10:10 the thief (Satan) comes to steal and kill and destroy.

This Saturday that passed I had an attack like that. What happened was that someone from my past contacted me. I was telling the truth and they made me out to be a liar.. I felt this anger rise up in me. I mean I haven’t spoken to this person in about 7 or 8 years because of what they did and now they contact me to be friends.. All but, they didn’t want to make friends, they wanted to dig up the past and hurt me…

So, I told the person that I’d forgiven them and that they hurt me. I needed to do that so Satan couldn’t have a hold on me. But still Satan drove in the knife. How come you’re so angry if you’ve forgiven them? But I know better. A person isn’t defined by their feelings. I asked God to help me. And I felt better because I know that He’s forgiven me for all my faults. John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. After that I just ignored the messages…

There is this saying I once heard. When Satan reminds you of your past. Remind him of his future!

But Sunday morning came and I didn’t even feel like getting out of bed. I felt a bit hopeless. But I want to tell you how awesome and wonderful our God is. He knows our hearts and when we call out to Him, he answers. All we have to do is listen.

Anyway so when I got to church the message was: When you have lost all your hope!!

Did you know that hope is mentioned about 160 times in the bible. And hope means To cherish the desire of anticipation. Let hope be your anchor!!

It’s amazing how God works in our lives.

Here are the verses that really touched my heart.
Job 11:13-19
Hebrews 13:5
Ephesians 3:20
Hebrews 6:18-19
Romans 8:28

Did you know there are over 3000 promises in God’s word for us to live by. Yes an Amen!!!

I’m leaving you with the words to a song “You are for me” by Kari Jobe.

Have a blessed Monday!

So faithful
So constant
So loving and so true
So powerful in all You do

You fill me
You see me
You know my every move
You love for me to sing to You

I know that You are for me
I know that You are for me
I know that You will never
Forsake me in my weaknesses

I know that You have come now
Even if to write upon my heart
To remind me who You are

So patient
So gracious
So merciful and true
So wonderful in all You do

You fill me
You see me
You know my every move
You love for me to sing to You

I know that You are for me
I know that You are for me
I know that You will never
Forsake me in my weaknesses

I know that You have come now
Even if to write upon my heart
To remind me

I know that You are for me
I know that You are for me
I know that You will never
Forsake me in my weaknesses

I know that You have come now
Even if to write upon my heart
To remind me who You are

To remind me

I know that You are for me
I know that You are for me
I know that You will never
Forsake me in my weaknesses

I know that You have come now
Even if to write upon my heart
To remind me who You….are!
